Many people tell me they’d like to write a book. Few do—because it is very hard work! Outlining, doing background research, writing, rewriting, editing, re-editing, formatting, getting a cover designed, and much more.I’m finally at the place where most of that is done for Unforgivable: Through a Child’s Eyes, the true story of an abused and fatherless boy who lived through WWII—and found that the end of the war was just the beginning of the unraveling. Now, I need to start on figuring out marketing. All authors need to market! Ugh.

Encouragement came from three people. I’d asked Sue Bohlin, a close friend to write the Foreword and the Rev Dr Johannes van der Bijl, a Dutch author and pastor, to consider giving the book advance praise. A couple weeks ago, I proposed that some of the story be featured on a Podcast, Jacqui Just Chatters, and it was accepted soon afterwards.

This is what they said. To read more, check here.

“I had heard about abuses in war-torn communities, but Unforgivable educated me in ways I will never forget without being gratuitous. Just . . . heart-moving. As I read it, I wanted to know how the story ended, but I didn’t want it to end.”

“I highly recommend this book as it truly draws you to the horror that was life at that time while demonstrating that God’s love is still greater than the depravity of humanity.”

“I found your tale compelling, and I believe my listeners will feel the same. Your story really did touch me. Reading about your dad and the last days almost brought me to tears.”
